Breezy Point – New York – Tornado Destroys Buildings 08.09.2012

0

This storm reached the east coast of the United States yesterday, the 8th of september 2012. A lot of on-line videos show the formation of this tornado. The one I propose was caught while this tornado was destructing a building. Apocalyptic sound of devastation and destruction. Pretty scary! I hope nobody got injured and that everybody is safe.

A tornado is a column of air that violently rotates and that is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cloud. Tornadoes wind speeds range from 110 miles per hour (177 km/h) to 300 miles per hour (483 km/h), are about 250 feet (76 m) to two miles (3.2 km) across, and travel a few (several kilometers) to dozens of miles (more than 100 km) before dissipating.
