An Australian grandfather saved his wife and five grandchildren by ordering them to shelter under a jetty during a bushfire. Tim Holmes’s family were in the water for three hours in Dunalley on Friday, the 4th of January 2013 while ‘tornadoes of fire’ destroyed the land around them. Parents Dave and Bonnie Walker were reunited with their children on Saturday, the 5th of January 2013.
