People are perplexed about the source. Was it an explosion, an earthquake, a thunder roll, or a car crash? Witnesses report tremors and violent shakes. – WKYT
According to the University of Kentucky Geological Survey, the seismic activity recorded by the stations in Kentucky are not exceptional (lot of activity which is normality for the region because of mine blating).
