Noises heard near the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort County, from Whale Branch to Coosaw Island to Port Royal, today and Wednesday, March 6 2013, are caused by explosive ordinance disposal training to improve team operations and help Marines further their capabilities within their job field. Unexplained noises shaking houses were already reported in this area late January 2013. They were already related to Army exercises. Trainings will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. – Island Packet
