An oxygen tank in the back of a truck, was carrying several other tanks, exploded just before 7 pm Sunday, April 7 2013, when the truck caught fire near the entrance of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge in Manhattan. The detonation sounded like a giant thunder clap, but twice as loud. No injuries reported!
