Sacred geometry is everywhere.

Even in our solar system, where celestial bodies and planets describe surreal geometric shapes while dancing to the music of the Cosmos.

Take the orbits of any two planets and draw a line between the two planet positions every few days.

Because the inner planet orbits faster than the outer planet, interesting surreal patterns appear and evolve.

Each planetary pairing has its own unique dance rhythm.

For example, the Earth-Venus dance returns to the original starting position after eight Earth years.

Eight Earth years equals thirteen Venus years.

8 and 13 are members of the Fibonacci number series. This discipline of study could also be called sacred geometry.

The Fibonacci sequence is associated with the geometric structure of spiral galaxies along with other mathematical laws of nature that occur throughout life on Earth and the surrounding universe.

* Earth: 8 years * 365.256 days/year = 2,922.05 days
* Venus: 13 years * 224.701 days/year = 2,921.11 days (ie. 99.9%)

The book entitled ‘A Little Book of Coincidence’ by John Martineau illustrates the orbital patterns of planets and celestial bodies and several of their geometrical relationships.

  1. I’ve got that book, it has a foreword by Prince Charles. The patterns remind me of Spirograph, which I played with as a kid.
