Mudskippers are one of the most amazing fish, which mostly inhabit tropical, subtropical and temperate regions of our globe, especially the Indo-Pacific and the Atlantic coast of Africa.

These weird fish are completely amphibious and thus can live in water but also walk on land using their pectoral fins as feet.

Mudskippers have no lungs but can breathe through their skin and the lining of their mouth (the mucosa) and throat (the pharynx). Mudskippers are quite active when out of water, feeding and interacting with one another, for example to defend their territories.
