Polar bears are known to be ruthless killers. But this scene proves polar bears will even attack and eat their own kind, even if it’s a defenceless cub.

She, mother polar bear was eating another bear that was most probably her cub. As this trend increases among the polar bears, scientists believe it is in conjunction with their habitat loss as shown in this scientific paper, among others. Here a video from a separate case:
