Soviet Sci-fi Lightning Machine: The Terrifying High Voltage Marx and Tesla Generators Research Facility

This Soviet sci-fi lightning machine is terrifying!

The sci-fi High Voltage Marx and Tesla Generators Research Facility is situated just outside Moskow in a secluded forest, where it sits abandonned! Well sort of.

RT has obtained the rights to film a striking demonstration (second video). Amazing!

This massive Soviet-built generator – once used for testing the resistance of aircraft to lightning, but now largely mothballed due to prohibitive costs was built in the 1970s by the Russia’s military. Here an amazing drone footage of this out-of-the-world installation:

Maximal discharge produced by this alien apparatus is the equivalent to all of Russia’s nuclear, hydro, thermal, solar, wind, gas, and coal generated power output, albeit for a tiny instant in time.

The High Voltage Marx and Tesla Generators Research Facility is mostly abandonned but still capable of operation as shown in the video below:

The facility’s Marx Generators can create lightning bolts hundreds of feet long. When the system is powered up and the condensers are at full capacity, the static charge is so great that anyone in the area will have their hair standing on end.

Now, this installation has became cult and urban explorers who want to see the sci-fi looking device for themselves, thus raising safety issues (since it is not quite abandonned actually).

Is this the Russian HAARP project?

“Allure” remnants are located nearby. This other massive Soviet project was intended to be used to study the weaponization of electro-magnetic pulses (EMP), and their effects as a result of a nuclear or solar blast on large vehicles. A russian version of “The Trestle,” the Air Force Weapons Lab’s Transmission Line Aircraft Simulator.

Do you think Russia is using this terrifying Soviet sci-fi lightning machine to control weather around the world?
