Check out this unusual cloud formation spotted in Peebles, Ohio last Tuesday!

The weird fractus clouds almost look like fingers reaching down toward the ground. Ominous looking sight!

What you are seeing is a shelf cloud created by a strong thunderstorm.

As warm moist air gets pushed up rapidly by the advancing gust front/shelf cloud, the moisture is condensed into what are called fractus clouds.

The fractus clouds almost look like fingers reaching down toward the ground. And there is a kind of ghostly animal face over the fingers. Do you see it?

Here an amazing upcoming storm cloud video with fractus clouds… Like the end of the world:

Fractus clouds are definitely an ominous looking sight! That’s really awesome to me!
