What is this mysterious red light streaking through the night sky over Dunedin, New Zealand on July 18, 2016?
For a meteor the disintegration path is too long. So what about space junk re-entering Earth’s atmosphere?
After Florida and Russia, another mysterious, meteor-like object streak across the sky over New Zealand on July 18th.
As both prior sightings, the latest is most probably related to a rocket launch.
In this case, the bright red glowing light is linked to the re-entry of the upper stage from the Russian Soyuz rocket like during the Russian event.
The spaceship launched Progress MS-03 towards the International Space Station on July 16th.
