Bombogenesis occurs when a storm strenghtens really, really fast, dropping at least 24 millibars over 24 hours.
Such a rapidly intensifying area of low pressure engulfed the Great Lakes on October 24, 2017, bringing sustained powerful wind to parts of Michigan.

There was basically a hurricane force storm along Lake Superior. Waves were crashing so hard people could feel it in the rocks they stood on:

Wind gusts over 60 mph downed trees and knocked out power in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The formation of this rapidly strengthening weather system is a process called bombogenesis, which creates what is known as a bomb storm. October and November are prime months for these Great Lakes wind storms.

Are these storms being –GEO-ENGINEERED and make damage to stop Trump from succeeding on his agenda plan—– I know it sound crazy.??? But those damn hurricanes were and the weather channel was able to prove it. It wasn’t some freaky storms , but man made.!!
This was not a usual or typical or any other type of storm….it was extremely strange in intensity, rapidity of developing, and the constant wind vs variable speeds typically seen. This was weather war…absolutely. i was driving north from MPLS and literally saw the HAARP signature throughout the clouds….I believe that the towers were being used to direct the wind and keep it moving in a direction we typically do not experience at all where I live.
This man made deep freeze weather came out of nowhere…constant gale force winds, cold as a well digger’s ass. prior to the winds it was sunny, nice fall warm day, and calm.
Friggin bastard assholes doing this crap should be shot.
Not that unusual for Lake Superior. Use to live in Wisconsin and every summer we’d spend a week up there boating around. Gorgeous area but that Lake can get as nasty as the ocean in a tropical storm when it wants to.
I started humming the Edmund Fitzgerald. Born and raised in Michigan (was transferred out to AZ about 12 years ago), and always fascinated by the tremendous storms that hit the Great Lakes (especially Superior). Stay safe all my UP friends.
I live in this area…..just a couple of miles from Superior. First off, why doesn’t the video play ? all we get is a black screen and some ? French language ?
The winds were a bit unusual to the high side. We do get this regularly thru the winter with storms most will not believe. 5 feet of snow drifts are common on the roads. At times we have to plow our own roads as the county trucks are covering a large area and smaller side roads may not get plowed for days.
Yep, a lot of trees went down. Some Helicopter rescues did take place……because of stupid people !
After the “big storm”, winds died down to normal. in the morning we awoke to everything covered in snow and sunshine. totally normal winter weather. this one came out of no where. or did it ?
