Wednesday’s rain was a welcome sight in the Camp Fire burn area. It was just what firefighters needed to douse the flames but the wet weather has created new worries and more work.

The rain storm cleared the air but delivered outages, road closures and flooding:

Wednesday night’s Sierra snowfall quickly blanketed the roadways, forcing families crossing the summit to pull over and chain up:

The rain helped Butte County firefighters but also hindered search for remains:

  1. after burning everything with laser beams now they come and wet everything so that everything recovers again. snowfall included.
