A clash between summer and winter across the central US is causing an autumn outbreak of snow where the air is colder and severe storms, along with tornadoes and flash flooding, where it’s warmer.

There’s a “big temperature contrast across the country as a battle of the seasons commences,” said the Weather Prediction Center.

Cooler-than-average temperatures have infiltrated the West, while above-average temperatures are occupying the East.

Between the two competing air masses is where the extreme weather will battle.

Autumn severe weather is very similar to severe outbreaks we see in early spring – as colder air clashes with oncoming warming.

The shorter fall severe weather season occurs when the warm air of summer is pushed away by the incoming colder air of winter.

Snow and cold weather in the West of the US

A storm system is already delivering welcome snow across the Rockies, with a foot in the mountains of Montana.

The snow is expected to be quite heavy to the west of the storm track over the northern High Plains tonight,” says the prediction center. “Winter Storm Watches and Warnings are currently in effect where snowfall totals of 1 to 2 feet are possible.

These winter weather alerts stretch from Utah to Montana.

It’s definitely not a rare thing to be getting snowstorms in October, that’s when it starts becoming more likely to be getting snow. I know the average for Denver is October 18 for the first snowfall and it definitely varies depending on where you are in the mountains,” NWS Boulder meteorologist Caitlyn Mensch told CNN meteorologist Jennifer Gray on Monday.

South Dakota

Western South Dakota experienced the state’s first major snowfall of the season and saw up to 14 inches of snow in parts of the Black Hills.

Colorado

Southwest Colorado got its first taste of cold and snow Tuesday, with reports of over a foot of snow in the high country.

Grand Canyon, Arizona

Grand Canyon National Park has experienced the first snowstorm of the season Oct. 12. The park reported that around 3:30 p.m., the fog and clouds parted to reveal the canyon. Freezing temperatures tonight and Wednesday morning, with a gradual warming trend this weekend are expected in the Grand Canyon area.

Montana

Downed trees and branches are causing power outages in Bozeman Monday morning. Power is out in many areas of Bozeman due to impacts from the heavy morning snow.

Warm weather, tornadoes and hail in the East of the US

In the warmer, moist air on the southern side of the storm system, severe thunderstorm gusts, large hail and tornadoes are possible mainly on Tuesday evening into the night, across parts of the central and southern Plains, said the Storm Prediction Center.

A supercell or two may pose a threat for significant (EF2+ damage) tornadoes, in addition to very large hail,” said the SPC.

The greatest threat for tornadoes is in western Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. There is a moderate risk – level 4 of five – for severe storms.

Areas of slight risk – level 2 of 5 – include more of Oklahoma and Kansas and a small portion of Texas and Nebraska.

A marginal risk – level 1 of 5 – of severe storms stretches from southern Texas into South Dakota.

Hurricane Pamela danger

In addition, a dangerous plume of moisture will move in across central Texas, including Dallas.

A potentially significant heavy rainfall event begins to unfold today through Thursday over the Central/Southern Plains,” tweets the WPC.

Moisture from a landfalling hurricane named Pamela will stream into Texas and combine with this strong storm.

Watch here a few videos of its touch down in Sinaloa, Mexico a few hours ago:

This surge of tropical moisture from the Pacific will lead to widespread storms likely to produce several inches of rain from very heavy and intense downpours, according to the WPC.

  1. SINCE WE KNOW WHO IS PULLPING THIS ——FOR —-ALL OF US THE RANCHERS WILL NEED HELP TO PROTECT THE CATTLE THAT THEY HAVE LEFT– BECAUSE OF THE POOR SUMMER WE HAD FOR THEIR CATTLE FEED.——- SHELTER IS WHAT THEY NEED.

  2. The world is the picture of the flesh and hence has similar reactions to change. What we are seeing is what a human body does. It’s a compensatory reactions like when a body is cold, it shivers to create heat or when it’s hot, it sweats to accelerate cooling. When you see a particular event such as drought on one part of the earth, you can bet there is a deluge being released elsewhere to attempt to compensate and balance the effect. The problem is that as the temperatures continue to slowly climb, the weather swings become more extreme and distant, hence our current condition, only to escalate until the cycle is complete. Unfortunately, our damage to the earth may preclude any recovery.

    • There is dumb abs dumber…then there’s YOU! Manmade weather is the culprit! HARRP will destroy most of the precious land we call North America…time to Wake-Up! Enjoy.

  3. Now the demonseeds want to lock everybody down over climate change. They know their depop suicide shots aren’t working fast enough. Therefore, they will adopt a globull warming lockdown, and collapse America faster.

The only way, we the people, win is if we mass rebel and revolt. Soon enough the infrastructure will collpase with supply chain manipulation, suicide shots + forced termination from people objecting to be lab rats.

Once the police quit working (forced out) then they will be replaced with new recruits, with leftist sympathies. Next comes Martial law, and gun confiscation. FEMA death camps are a likely scenario, all for the greater good. Expect something along these lines to occur.

It’s either fight, or bend over.
