    BoomBoom

Numerous people in and around Charleston, SC, reported on social media Monday a loud “boom” or the sound of an “explosion,” which some said shook their home or other building they were in for several seconds. The source of the boom and ensuing shaking is presently unknown.

    Any ideas what it was?

People across Nottingham have reported what sounded like a ‘bomb going off’ overnight. NottinghamshireLive has been contacted multiple times by concerned residents with what they heard on Monday night. Facebook and Twitter users also described hearing sounds like an ‘explosion’ at around midnight on Monday, February 18, in Carlton and St Ann’s. Some have suggested that it could have been a meteorite or a bomb, with others describing the sound as too loud to be a firework.
