Loud booms advisory: Camp Pendleton jet units will be conducting live-fire training exercises in the Whiskey impact area from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 17 2013, and Thursday, April 18 2013. In addition, other aircraft will be dropping high explosive bombs in the Zulu impact area from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, April 18 2013. Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
