“It was God, that’s all I can say. It was God.” A Detroit mother is thanking God that she happened to be at her daughter’s school the day the young girl fell into a massive sinkhole.
Sinkholes swallow car and houses all over the world. But when they swallow people, this geological phenomenon takes another dimension.
What occurred in front of Monica Linsley’s eyes is terrible. She saw her kid and one of her friend being swallowed by a new sinkhole that had formed just in front of the children school. After rescuing them, she said: “It was God, that’s all I can say. It was God,” as she wasn’t supposed to be there!
As described by WJBK-TV, the eight-year-old kid fell in a hole as she was waving her mother back after arriving at J.R. King Elementary School on Detroit’s west side.
