Within the last two days, amazing fireballs have been seen flying and exploding over Alabama (USA) and Perth (Australia).
The US fireball has been recorded on tape! It would be great to have a color or a dash cam video of this amazing light explosion. Read the two reports here:
On August 2, 2014, the NASA All Sky Camera recorded a large and long-lasting fireball over Alabama at 10:20 Eastern Time. According to the American Meteor Society, over 65 witnessed this bright fireball. Reports came from Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Kentucky. Watch the fireball meteor trajectory here.
More recently, actually tonight at 6:00 am, a fireball was seen flying across the Perth sky. Experts believe it could have made it to earth. The blue-green light flashed across the morning sky just before sunrise. The fireball was photographed by several Desert Fireball Network cameras.

Saw the meteor on August 2nd in Buford, Ga. It was amazing. It had a green light to it with a huge, white tail. I had never seen anything like it before.
