Summer has ended abruptly in the UK. Several rare tornadoes have been sighted in different parts of the country, as heavy winds and rain lashed Great Britain. Rare twisters have been reported in Cumbria, Derbyshire and the Wirral on October 9, 2014.

The first video shows a tornado in the Haverthwaite and Backbarrow area of Cumbria:
In Alfreton, Derbyshire, cars were flipped over and some houses demolished by the strong winds and a small but destructive twister.
The next video features a ‘nice’ tornado crossing over the M53 in Merseyside. It was filmed from inside a car, while the twister was passing just metres in front of them:
These kinds of weather phenomena are really unusual across the UK, but in some cases, so when the atmosphere is suitably volatile, it may occur… And gives us these amazing tornado sightings! I love these rare tornadoes in UK in October 2014.
