On November 5, 2014, Fairbanks was transformed into a magical place as mysterious light pillars transcended green auroras dancing over Fairbanks, Alaska.
Every now and then when it gets cold, ice crystals float in the air and beautiful light pillars appear.
To be able to photograph these combined with green aurora is probably a dream for every skywatchers.
And this dream as come true for Mariska Wright as she photographed light pillars lighting up the green northern lights! Beautiful sky phenomena!
