A meteoroid disintegrated over Romania, lighting up the skies of the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
The loud disintegration took place at around 03:00 AM (local time) on Wednesday, January 7, 2014.
It is still unknown if the flying object has impacted on Earth, and thus became a meteorite.
So meteorite hunters, I hope the space rock did not completely burned during its passage through Earth’s atmosphere and you will not find a weird metallic piece of space junk in a field. But this time I really believe we have a meteor exploding!
