A bright white fireball flashed across Perth skies on March 8, 2015.
According to a geology expert this was likely a pretty big chunk of meteorite. So did it reach the ground?
It’s not everyday you see a meteor in the day time! So imagine its brightness and size!
This fireball struck the sky over Gidgegannup at about 8.30am. Luckily it was captured on dashcam by Nine News cameraman, Gerard Price. The vision was shot at the junction of Charles Street and Scarborough beach road in North Perth.
The main witness of the fall is sure that the meteor touched the ground:
