The Large Hadron Collider at CERN restarts after two-year shutown!
Yes, the world’s largest particle collider has restarted after a two-year upgrade.
Scientists are hoping the upgrade will provide still more energy to research so-called “dark matter.”
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the most powerful particle accelerator in the world – 27-kilometer ring. Over the coming days, operators will check all systems before increasing energy of the beams.
Hopefully they will be able to discover the origin of the matter we can’t see!
