They prayed for rain! But didn’t ask for a deluge!
After two days of torrential rain, the south-central part of Chile is being wreaked havoc by floods, landslides and collapsing roads… And the biblical rain will last until Sunday!
Red alert has been declared in the region of Valparaiso due to the possible risk of overflow of the river Marga Marga.
The following pictures have been shared on social networks and correspond to apocalyptic sceneries around Santiago, and Horcón amongst others.
In Horcon, a street has almost entirely collapsed:
Moreover the barrage in the area of San Gabriel, San Jose de maipo is overflowing:
Landslides are blocking roads in the sector of Guayacán, San José de Maipo.
Although this biblical rainfall may fill up the reservoirs with water, some parts of the country will have to be completely rebuilt!
