You have to be a british asshole to believe that the plastics on a car melt with 40C degrees… I lived in Africa in an area where we had more than 2 weeks with 40+ temperatures, none of our cars melted and they were always in the sun, my friend had a megane hatchback.
Yes it is probably a defect on the car! 😉
