Severe thunderstorms erupted over parts of central Texas Friday.
3 confirmed tornadoes, tornado watch, flooding and warning for bad weather to continue through Saturday from the Southern Plains to the Gulf Coast and Deep South.

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of central and east Texas, including Austin and College Station, until 7 p.m. CDT.

A likely tornado damaged a wood-framed home southwest of San Marcos, Texas, Friday morning.

Radar indicated debris lofted by what was likely a tornado near Zorn, New Braunfels, and South San Marcos around 7:30 a.m. CDT.


A high school gymnasium in Floresville, Texas, was also damaged by a likely tornado earlier in the morning from the same supercell thunderstorm.


Structural damage was reported in downtown D’Hanis, Texas, about 50 miles west of San Antonio, early Friday morning from another likely tornado.
