Powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake hits Taiwan – First pictures and videos

A powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.4 hit southern Taiwan at 7:57pm (UTC) in southern Taiwan.

The epicenter of the shallow quake is located 42 km from Kaohsiung. Tremors were felt across the whole island.
