A six-meter high mudflow engulfed the city of Kadamjay, Kyrgyzstan on May 27, 2016.
The mudslides washed away water pipes, partially destroyed roads, uprooted trees, increased the water level in the river by several meters and killed at least 5 residents.
This mud tsunami reached more than 6-meter high in the channel.
The mudslide cut water pipes and thus water supply for residents.
People who died were all in a car that was swept away by the furious wall of mud.
One resident could be saved as he was carried away by the current.
About 200 households have been flooded by mud.
Roads to rural areas have been closed for the next few days.
