Move over, Moon!
Earth has as new celestial companion, a tiny asteroid, named 2016 HO3, which was discovered only recently in April 2016.
The small asteroid was discovered by a telescope on Haleakala, Hawaii in April and was named 2016 HO3.
The actual size of the celestial body has not been firmly established yet.
Astronomers estimate its size to range between 120 feet (40 meters) and 300 feet (100 meters).
This new celestial companion will remain and dance with Earth for centuries to come. Does this make it a good candidate for a rendez-vous?
