‘Back-to-School’ Firearms Sale

A gun store and shooting range in Texas had a very weird idea over the weekend to promote a sale.

The Boyert Shooting Center in Katy wrote on its marquee: “Back to school sale August 13 through 18. Up to 50% off firearms.“

Pretty strange, no?

Having a “back-to-school sale” involving guns is no less funny than selling bullet-proof backpacks.

It’s so ridiculous that you have to wonder whether they are being serious, or if it’s The Onion. Well maybe I also have a dark sense of humor.
