Although very deep, more than 50 people reported feeling the M6.2 earthquake on the USGS webpage.
The earthquake had a strong M6.0 aftershock in the same area (71km NNE of Sumbersari, Indonesia).
The aftershock was widely felt although also very deep.
There is no tsunami threat or warning in place.
