Those exposed will be decontaminated and brought to a medical facility, the television station reported. Office employees who opened the envelope became itchy a couple of hours later, according to Fox’s local affiliate Fox 11

The powder was tested and determined to be non-hazardous, Fox 11 reported. The investigation is ongoing, and there have been no arrests.

A spokesperson for the FBI’s Los Angeles field office told The Hill they are investigating the incident and there are no known current threats to public safety.

Hill resigned from her congressional position last week after reports surfaced that she had an alleged inappropriate relations with congressional and campaign staffers and nude photos of her were published. Her last day in Congress was last Friday. [The Hill]
