The virus is highly contagious and spreads rapidly among students and district employees. Principal symptom of the mysterious virus is vomiting. Health officials are currently trying to determine the illness.
According to the district nursing coordinator, there is now a second, related virus that is affecting students, some of whom have already been ill in recent weeks. And the combination of the two has created an unprecedented spread of illness.
I’m just hoping this is not a new type of drug-resistant superbug. Meanwhile, schools are being disinfected.
