Mysterious explosion shakes homes in Middlesex County, Connecticut

  Hundreds of residents in small Middlesex County, CT heard a loud explosion on April 16 around 3pm. We felt the ground shake. It was not fireworks, gunfire or thunder. Everyone who heard it expected to see smoke, or hear sirens, but nothing. There’s no explanation for it. There wwere, however, reports of a helicopter circling the area just moments prior to the “big boom.”
  
  Anybody has more news about this unexplained event?
