Jesus has lost one of his fingers during a lightning storm on Thursday 16 January 2013. Was his father angry?
Was God mad at his son? Or was it Satan that fell like lightning from heaven last Thursday night?
In any cases, the iconic 125-foot (38 meter) Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking Rio de Janeiro has been damaged during a storm.
It’s right thumb was chipped probably by a lightning. This is the second time within a month! The middle finger of the right hand had been chipped during a storm last month.
But don’t worry! Repairs will soon be made. The church still has a chunk of the original stone used to build the statue back in 1931. (Source)
