GoPro Hero 6 time-lapse of an LP supercell lightning machine spinning over southwest Oklahoma at sunset to the east of Frederick, Oklahoma, on Saturday June 23, 2018. This supercell developed within a washed-out outflow boundary zone that had destabilized throughout the afternoon.
Another supercell just south of the Red River came close to producing a tornado.
A more significant and widespread severe weather event is likely today (Sunday, June 24, 2018) across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.
Take cover if you are witnessing such a storm. It could end very badly!
