In the blistering Arizona desert, even predators have to get creative.
Local bobcats have been spotted sleeping on top of cacti — balancing between spines like desert gymnasts.
Why? Because the cactus offers what the desert floor can’t: shade, safety, and a killer view.
Up there, they’re untouchable — away from coyotes, snakes, and whatever else crawls when the sun hits 45°C.
It’s weird. It’s brilliant. It’s evolution with a sense of humor.
