Yes, right! As the temperature reached -35°C and ice crystals filled up the air, stunning pillars of light appeared over Hotel Harriniva in front of glowing green auroras. Awesome!
As described by Antti Pietikäinen, the crater in the front formed “because the ice has frozen unevenly in the river Muonio in Lapland. and we got a small pond that overflows water regurarly and water with slush freezes on top heightening the crater walls.”
