Typhoon Nepartak had caused four deaths and 12 missing as of 20:30 Sunday in Minqing, east China’s Fujian Province.

The first typhoon of the year brought heavy downpours with precipitation exceeding to 200 millimeters within three hours, raising the water level of a local river for seven to eight meters.

The silt piled up in some houses for more than 30 centimeters. Local authorities and troops have joined the residents in the relief work.

The video shows that the water level on the street rose by five meters within two hours inundating almost all the streetfront shops. Terrifying!
