One of the two natural rock arches sculpted by the rough seas on the beach Legzira collapsed on September 23, 2016.
The word spread following the release of pictures on the site Ifnipress, quickly shared on social networks.
These photographs show a cluster of rocks surrounded by a small crowd of onlookers baffled by what they see.
No information about the cause of the collapse has been given so far by authorities.
The loss of such an emblematic natural monument is sad for this region along the Moroccan coast.
