And it looks like a giant atomic explosion mushroom cloud!

A massive mushroom cloud has terrified residents in the suburbs of the australian megapole on March 2, 2017.

As visible in the pictures, the isolated cloud has all characteristics of a nuclear explosion – except the loud boom.

In fact what they were witnessing was a huge anvil cumulonimbus cloud.

  1. So, who exactly was ‘terrified’? Sounds a bit sensationalist for the purpose of drawing traffic to your website. I guess it worked with me. I grew up in Adelaide and know that people there are not prone to panic attacks or be frightened of a bloody cloud.

  2. There are often arts here about impressive anvil clouds… Is this somehow new phenomena as strange sounds, flashes etc or just old and known? I know that anvil clouds appeared always everywhere but such look of them is… somehow different, magic.
