The swarm of earthquakes is intensifying in central Italy.
More than 5500 earthquakes have hit the exact same area struck by the catastrophic italy that killed hundreds of civilians on August 24, 2016.
According to the Italian National Seismic Network (INGV) from these 5500 earthquakes:
- 159 had a magnitude between 3.0 and 4.0
- 15 had magnitude between 4.0 and 5.0
- 1 with a magnitude greater than 5.0 (M5.4 one hour after the deadly tremor)
- Others were below M3
