Yes flying through that thunderstorm in Zambia must have been really wild.
The plane, flying from Livingstone to Lusaka, was struck by lightning and hit by large hail just after starting its descent.
Some passengers remember feeling like dropping like a stone with their ears going on bersek. After a few minutes of downfall, was able to escape the thunderstorm.
Finally, the pilots landed safely with great calm and professionalism.

PROFLIGHT Zambia has now confirmed the lightning and hail incident which happened on Monday, November 25, 2019 and involved 41 passengers and 5 crew members on board.
The aircraft was forced to land at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport without anyone being injured on Monday following a hailstorm and some potential lightning strike.
The aircraft, with 41 passengers and five crew members on board, landed safely and no one was injured during the incident.
The damage caused by the hailstorm was significant and there was potentially a lightning strike in addition.
