Power plant in Russia’s Vladivostok halts operation due to snow cyclone

Overnight powerful storms brought freezing rains, heavy snow and frigid temperatures to Vladivostok on early morning Thursday, November 19.

This weaponized storm cyclone wreaked havoc across the region and prompted city officials to shut down the Vostochnaya Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) in Vladivostok.

The power supply has been disrupted for 100,000 peopleleaving whole families in the dark, without light and heating.

And more will probably be added to the list as the anomalous weather event is increasing in intensity.

Meanwhile, the city of Vladivostok has been put under a state of emergency. More extreme storm cyclone on Tass, Strange Sounds and Steve Quayle.
