Somalia deadly floods

The worst floods that Somalia has experienced in a century have killed at least 31 people and left a trail of destruction.

A region that’s seen years of relentless drought, is now being overrun with water – disrupting the lives of more than 1-point-2 million people.

Up to a million people could impacted by the intense rains and flooding in East Africa.

The displaced are struggling to find proper shelter and damaged transport infrastructure is making it hard for aid agencies to deliver essential supplies to those in need.
