The estimated international sunspot number (EISN) is a daily value obtained by a simple average over available sunspot counts from prompt stations in the SILSO network. Time range: current month. Data description: Daily estimation of the Sunspot Number Nb Data = Total Number of observations received at SILSO Nb Valid Data = Total number of observations taken into account for calculating the EISN Current average = Current average of the Sunspot Number EISN : Estimated International Sunspot Number.

Record in June 2024?

If this continues for the rest of the month, June could log the highest sunspot counts since Dec. 2001, rivaling the peak of potent Solar Cycle 23.

The observed and predicted ​Solar Cycle is depicted in Sunspot Number in the above graph and F10.7cm Radio Flux in the bottom graph.

In both plots, the black line represents the monthly averaged data and the purple line represents a 13-month weighted, smoothed version of the monthly averaged data. The slider bars below each plot provide the ability to display the sunspot data back to solar cycle 1 and F10.7 data back to 2004.

The mean forecast for the current solar cycle (Cycle 25) is given by the red line. This is based on an international panel that was convened in 2019 for this purpose. In February, 2023 the plot was modified to show the full range of the 2019 Panel prediction as the gray shaded region (similarly for the F10.7 cm plot). This takes into account expected uncertainties in the cycle start time and amplitude. Use the drop-down menu below each plot to display specific curves within this range.

  1. CALIFORNIA NORTHWEST and USA is red Alert for coming 6 plus quakes till July 23 2024? HAARP and weather modifications and sun sytorms
    are reasons for it. Ring of fire in other places will be having also 7 plus quakes within same date range ? Florida had 1o inch of rain and all Flotida is under water and North of Tehran to go to Rasht Iran is also flooded today after massive rain and mods closed only highway to and from Rasht?
    More flooding expected for the USA and World. WW3 no one have protests to stop it? why!!!!
