A 20 feet deep sinkhole drained a pond at Boyle County golf course, Kentucky on June 19, 2016.
The three and a half feet wide hole swallowed most of the pond water within a matter of minutes.
The deep sinkhole opened under a pond that surrounds the first hole on the course.
The water reservoir – the highlight of the golf course – was gone within a matter of minutes.
Many balls will get lost! The sinkhole is not affecting the actual course, so golfers continue to play.
Nobody was hurt by the gasping sinkhole.
