This terrifying video show a schoolbus with 15 children buried in a raging river during apocalyptical floods currently sweeping across Akmolinskaya region in Kazakhstan.
The impressive rescue – children climbing on the roof top and being evacuated by boat – took place along the Atbasar – Kokshetau highway on April 16, 2017.

The 15 children were travelling to a competition of the Kazakh language for not indigenous people. Officials were able to evacuate all the passengers to a secure section of the road. No injuries have been reported.
The central and northern regions of Kazakhstan are currently being hit by historical floods, which have already begun on April 11th.
The flooding is due to heavy rainfall as well as huge quantities of snow that accumulated during the last extreme winter.
Several thousands of residents and livestock have been evacuated: in Akmola (1340), East Kazakhstan (52), Zhambyl (55), Karaganda (1850), Kostanay (200), Aktobe (1174), North Kazakhstan (44).
