Did you hear a loud band and/or mysterious explosion across parts of Manchester and Salford, yesterday night?
Hundreds reported the booming noise but its source remains unexplained and baffles officials!
Hundreds of people took to social media to describe hearing a “loud bang” at about 22:30 GMT on Monday around Manchester and Salford, UK.
Firefighters were called after a report in the Weaste area of Salford but later admitted they could find no evidence of a fire, or any other disturbance.

Was it a meteor explosion? A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said they had found no evidence of any disturbance.
