Heavy rains and tornado-like whirlwinds of more than 150 kmh engulfed the outskirts of Villahermosa on May 31 2015.
More than 40 houses collapsed, dozens of trees and electricity poles were knocked down and several cars were smashed. Impressive pictures!
This extreme weather phenomenon began at around 9pm.
Heavy rain and strong winds knocked down dozens of trees on the road to Rio Viejo, Boqueron Banana and villages in the municipality of Centro.
Roofs started flying and homes collapsing due to hurricane wind gusts.
Some cars were crushed down by falling trees.
Luckily, neither injured nor dead have been reported!
